Marquel May
The search continues for a man wanted by the Cecil County Sheriff's Office for attempted murder.

During Thursday's afternoon rush hour, Cecil County police stopped a vehicle driven by Marquel May on Old Baltimore Pike near Route 896.

Police say May fled through a red light, striking two cars. When his car became disabled, he fled on foot and was last seen on Welsh Tract Road near South College Ave. He allegedly ditched several bundles of heroin with the car.

Arrested at the scene was a passenger in May's car, Teron O'Brien of Wilmington. He faces drug charges.

Officers on foot and K-9 teams were aided in their search efforts by a State Police helicopter, but were unsuccessful in locating May.

May is considered armed and dangerous, and authorities ask those living in that area to stay indoors and report suspicious activity by calling 911.
