A New Castle man is charged with a D.U.I. on Saturday evening.

County Police say they were conducting a property check in the area of Banning Park, when they noticed Felipe Estrada's vehicle stopped in the roadway with heavy tint on the windows.

Police say a strong smell of alcohol came from Estrada's vehicle and an investigation revealed he was operating the vehicle under the influence.

Estrada was arrested and charged with a D.U.I., driving while suspended, operating a vehicle with aftermarket window tint, and other charges.

He was released with a pending trial date.
