Green, Carpenter at DSMHOF on Thursday
With the World Series right around the corner, the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame at Frawley Stadium is giving Phillies fans a chance to relive the first Phillies World Series Championship of 1980.
On Thursday, October 17, World Series manager Dallas Green and former owner Ruly Carpenter will be at the museum from 3pm until 6:30 to talk about that great season and sign autographs.
The museum has also planned a wine and cheese reception during their appearance that is open to the public.
You'll also have a chance to purchase a copy of Dallas Green's new book, "The Mouth that Roared" and have it autographed by the former skipper and Delaware native.
There will also be a silent auction and sports memorabilia available for purchase.
