Parking will be tight for St. Mark's vs. Sallies
Updated Wednesday, October 16, 2013 - 12:30am
There are special parking and ticketing rules in place at St. Mark's for Friday night's on-campus showdown with Salesianum.
The first Salesianum vs. St. Mark's football battle to be played at the Spartans' new stadium will be a test of the capacity of both the stadium, and the parking lot.
Tickets will not be sold at the gate, and must be purchased at one of the two schools. St. Mark's says they will sell their remaining $5 tickets in the gym lobby between 9am and Noon.
Salesianum says their allotment will be on sale, at two per customer, Thursday and Friday from 11:20am to 12:50pm in the cafeteria.
Those tickets will be important, because no cars will be allowed onto the St. Mark's property Friday unless everyone in the vehicle has a ticket to the game. In addition, all cars going to the game must have more than one fan. The lot will open at 5pm.
Single occupant cars, cars arriving after the lot fills, and anyone dropping off a fan are asked to go to the Pike Creek Shopping Center where a shuttle bus service will run beginning at 6pm. You have have a ticket to get onto the bus.
You will be able to hear the game on 1150AM WDEL Friday night beginning with pregame coverage at 7:06pm.
