A teenage girl has been arrested after Wilmington police say officers searched a home and found more than $56,000 in heroin.
Police say officers executed a search warrant at a home on the 600 block of South Van Buren Street around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday and found more than 4,300 bags of heroin.
Officers also turned up a shotgun, ammunition and drug paraphernalia, police say.
The teen's age and name were not disclosed by police, who say she's in the Delores J. Baylor Women's Correctional Institution in lieu of $50,000 secured bond.
