A North Wilmington man is busted dealing heroin in a shopping center parking lot.

Delaware State Police say troopers witnessed 24-year-old Matthew Brown make a drug exchange with a woman in a parking lot on Friday.

Both Brown and his female customer were then taken into custody.

The woman had bought seven bags of heroin, Brown had another 22 bags of heroin on his person, as well as $800 cash.

A search of Brown's home on the 2400 block of Silverside Road turned up eight more bags of heroin.

State Police say the Governor's Task Force had conducted surveillance on Brown after suspecting him of selling heroin.

Brown was charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and released on $5,000 unsecured bail. Additionally, as a condition of bail, he was ordered to have no contact with the residence on Silverside Road.
