Man critically injured in house fire in Smyrna

The state Fire Marshal's office is investigating an early morning fire in Smyrna that left a man critically injured.

Fire officials say firefighters were called to a trailer home in the Holly Hill Estates near Route 13 on Sunday, shortly after 4:30 a.m. One man was taken from the home to Kent General Hospital in critical condition.

State fire investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire.

No other injuries were reported.
