St. Georges keep winning streak alive against McKean

The cold weather didn't bother St. Georges, as they beat McKean 50 to 20 in the last game of the season.

The first quarter started off with a back and forth between St, Georges and McKean. Jaleel Heyward scored the first touchdown for McKean. St. Georges answered right back with a kickoff return by Keyjuan Selby. They converted with extra point to make the score 7- 6. Darius Jones would score another 6 points for McKean before the end of the first quarter to make the score 12 - 7, Highlanders.

In the beginning of the second quarter, the Hawks went to work. K. Selby would bring the ball all the way down the field to allow for the St. Georges touchdown, and with the extra point from Patrick King, the score would be 14 -12, St. Georges.

Before the half, St. Georges, Logan Gilbert would intercept the ball and take it all the way to the end zone to make the score 21 - 12.

Late in the third quarter, the Hawks took over the game. K. Selby scored another touchdown with 3:09 left to make the score 36 - 12.

In the fourth quarter, Gilbert would score for St. Georges to make the score 44-12. McKean showed some signs of life. Jorge Rodriguez Quinones scored a touchdown, and Ryheem Jenkins would make the 2 point conversion to make the score 44 - 20 with 5:22 left in the game.

Time ran out on the Highlanders, and the Hawks would take the victory. The final score was 50 - 20.

St. Georges finishes their season at 9-1, and McKean finish at 5-5.
