Incyte to move into old Wanamaker building off Augustine Cut-Off
By Amy Cherry

A biopharmaceutical firm commits to Delaware for 15 years.

Incyte will move from its location at the DuPont Experimental Station into the former Wanamaker building in Wilmington off of Augustine Cutoff.

The company got $11 million from the Delaware Economic Development's strategic fund to forgo deals to move to Pennsylvania or New Jersey last year. That deal required Incyte to add 260 jobs in three years.

Since Incyte opened its labs in Delaware 10 years ago, the company has developed the first drug approved by the FDA to treat a rare blood cancer.
