9 kids taken to hospital after school bus crash in Wilmington

Nine children are hurt after a car slams into a school bus on the way to school Friday morning.

It happened on West 4th and North Lincoln Streets in Wilmington. Police say a car struck the school bus in the rear while going through an intersection.

The children, ages nine through 14, were taken to duPont Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation, and so far, no citations have been filed.
