A Claymont man is behind bars after his arrest for what police say was his intent to sell drugs.

It was just after two o'clock Monday afternoon when police went to to serve a warrant at a home on 4th Avenue. The person they were looking for wasn't there, but officers did find 22 year old Nicholas Dagle behind the house.

Police say Dagle had marijuana and Oxycodone pills that he intended to sell, and also later learned that he was on probation for a previous crime.

He was taken to the Howard Young Prison on lack of bail.
