Thanksgiving theft leads to arrest

A Newark man faces felony charges after a Thanksgiving day heist at the home of a family friend.

Police say 26 year old Christopher Sulo went to the home of his 71 year old victim to help cook a Thanksgiving turkey.

While he was there, Sulo allegedly took two rings the victim had taken off her fingers while she was cooking.

Police recovered the rings at Sulo's home and returned them to the woman.

Sulo was arrested and released on bail, and ordered to have no contact with the victim.
