By Associated Press

Kyle Anderson scored a game-high 29 points, including 8 of 10 beyond the arc, to lead Delaware over Charleston Southern 85-81 Tuesday night.

Four Delaware (5-3) players finished with double figures, including Jarvis Threatt with 18, and 17 apiece from Carl Baptiste and Davon Usher. Baptiste pulled down 11 boards.

Five Charleston Southern (3-4) players scored double figures, led by Will Saunders and Sheldon Strickland with 15 apiece.

The Fightin Blue Hens built a 12-point lead with 2:14 left in the first half, but the Buccaneers cut the deficit and trailed 40-33 at the half.

Delaware then used a 15-2 run, including a pair of 3-pointers by Anderson, to wrest control of the game. Charleston Southern was able to cut the lead to four with 1:24 left, but Baptiste made 3 of 4 free throws in the last 21 seconds of the game to ice it for Delaware.
