Recommendations for adapting to sea level rise in the state have been issued.

The report calls for increased regulatory incentives for sea level adaptation projects--similar to what Governor Markell had suggested at the first presidential climate change task force meeting.

It also calls for increased public awareness and more communication and coordination between federal, state and local agencies to streamline efforts.

The report comes from the Delaware Sea Level Rise Advisory Committee after three years of debate and public input.
