By Gianna Banner

State police are searching for two men who robbed a motel employee in Bear this morning.

Investigators say a 43-year-old male employee was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of the Afton Motel, when he was approached by two male suspects who demanded money.

The two suspects pushed the employee forcibly and removed a motel deposit bag that contained an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say one suspect is described as a six-foot black male with a thin build, between the age of 35-45 years old wearing dark clothing and the other a five-foot-eight white male 35-45 years old with a thin build wearing dark clothing with tan pants.

Both suspects fled on foot westbound on Pulaski Highway into the community of Fairwinds.

There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
