Video: Highlights of A.I. vs Hodgson and reaction

The Hodgson girls basketball team trailed A.I. duPont at the end of the first quarter, but the Silver Eagles outscored the Tigers in the following three quarters to pick up its 10th consecutive win with a 60-41 victory on Thursday.

A.I. (6-2) took a 12-9 lead at the end of one, when Lauryn Griffin and Sarah O'Connor both drained shots behind the arc, but the Tigers saw its lead crumble in the second.

Hodgson (10-0) went on an 8-0 run to open the second quarter and held on to a 27-21 lead by halftime, with the help of Dynasty Williams' 15 first half points.

The Silver Eagles' Mia Wynn got her team going in the third, hitting the first three buckets inside for Hodgson. At the end of three, Hodgson led 43-32.

In the final quarter, Hodgson opened again with another run (9-0) with shots made from Williams, Quiara Mayes, and Tierra Johnson.

Hodgson's Jordan Coleman extended the lead to 20 points when she nailed a jumper, and the Tigers never could find the answer to the speed or size of the Silver Eagles in the second half.

Williams led all scorers with 20 points, while Coleman chipped in 10 points for Hodgson.

Griffin led A.I. with 12 points.
