Gunfire wounds two men in Bear

Two men were injured after a double shooting in Bear on Friday, police said.

It happened shortly before 7:25 p.m. on Harpers Place in the Buckley community, located just off Route 40.

Responding officers initially found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper torso, police said.

A second man, who was shot in the lower torso, was also discovered officers moments later.

Police did not release information on the condition of either man late Friday night.

No motive has been determined and the investigation is in its early stages.
