House fire in Wilmington
By Michelle Provencher

Wilmington fire fighters battle a blaze inside a two-story row home Saturday afternoon.

City fire officials say the call reporting smoke pouring out of a house at 1408 West Sixth Street came in at 1:53 p.m.

The department says their B-Platoon used an "aggressive interior attack" to get the flames under control by 2:10 p.m.

The house is reportedly vacant, and damage is primarily on its first floor and basement. Minor smoke damage occurred to neighboring homes, but no one will be displaced.

No injuries are reported.

The investigation into what caused the fire continues.
