A New Castle traffic stop leads to a heroin bust.

State Police say it happened Thursday on the one hundred block of South DuPont Highway.

They say the troopers that pulled the car over recognized the driver, 40 year old Christopher White and determined he had a suspended license.

He was also wanted on a shoplifting warrant out of Newark.

Troopers arrested White and got two other people out of the car...43 year old Tarra Thomas, 34 year old Carmen Malgiero, both from New Castle.

While searching the vehicle, police turned up 58 grams of heroin.

All three defendants face drug charges.
