Biden: 'No obvious reason' not to run in 2016
By Associated Press

Vice President Joe Biden says he sees "no obvious reason" not to run for president in 2016.

In an interview broadcast Friday on CNN's "New Day" program, Biden says he'll make a decision by the summer of 2015.

He says his decision to make a third White House bid will be based on whether he thinks he's the best qualified person to focus "on the two things I've spent my whole life on."

He says they are "giving ordinary people a fighting chance to make it", and a foreign policy based on what he calls the "rational interests of the United States."

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is widely seen as the Democratic front-runner for the White House to succeed President Barack Obama.
