Students in the Colonial School District will have longer days at school to make up for all their snow days.

Starting Monday, students will spend an extra 10 minutes in class.

The additional time will be five minutes in the morning and five minutes in the afternoon until school ends on June 10.

The added time is the equivalent of two full days of classroom instruction.

If students get any more snow days, Colonial will likely have to add days to the calendar.
