Delaware still not sharing the salt

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is sending commercial haulers to Delaware to pick up 20,000 tons of road salt -but they're not getting it from DelDOT.

DelDOT spokesman Jim Westhoff tells WDEL Pennsylvania haulers are simply picking up the hot commodity at the Port of Wilmington, where shipments are often sent.

Salt-strapped New Jersey had asked Delaware to share its salt earlier this week, and Delaware said it has enough to last a few more storms, but isn't willing to share.

When asked again if they'd share with neighboring states, Westhoff told WDEL, "No way."
