Forner legislative candidate still barred from practicing law
By Michelle Provencher

Ron Poliquin
The Delaware Supreme Court has rejected a former legislative candidate's petition to rejoin the Delaware Bar.

Ron Poliquin was suspended from practicing law for six months back in August 2012 after a Supreme Court disciplinary panel decided the Dover lawyer violated several rules of professional conduct in three cases dating to 2008.

The Republican had blamed his poor behavior on an addiction to prescription drugs like Adderall.

A Board on Professional Responsibility found Poliquin has failed to provide evidence he is rehabilitated.
