Gun shared by Therion Reese and Joshua Tyler
Police have arrested two young Wilmington men for passing a gun in a school zone.

Police say Therion Reese, 18, and Joshua Tyler, 18, of Wilmington were passing a 9 millimeter handgun to each other near Kingswood Academy in the 2200 block of N. Market Street.

While patrolling near the school zone, police say they noticed Reese pulled a gun out of his waistband and hand it to Tyler. Officers struggled briefly with the two boys before they were taken into custody.

Reese was charged with multiple gun-related offenses and is incarcerated at Howard R. Young Prison on $6,000 bail.

Tyler, who was a minor at the time of the arrest, was also charged with possession and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. He has been released on $6,000 secured bond.
