Del. Chief Medical examiner suspended in drug lab probe
By Amy Cherry

Delaware's Chief Medical Examiner is suspended with pay.

Dr. Richard Callery is the subject of an internal investigation that stems from troubles with the state's drug lab.

State Police say drug evidence has been tampered with, missing, or at times, substituted in nearly two dozen cases dating back to 2010.

Earlier this week, a Superior Court judge denied state prosecutors' request to suspend all drug trials for two months until the investigation was complete.
