Fire destroys Wilmington home
By Amy Cherry

A fire destroys a home on Wilmington's East Side.

The fire broke out at 310 East 24th Street Friday morning just before 11:30 a.m. Crews arrived on-scene to find heavy fire from the second floor front of the brick duplex.

Fire crews say no one was inside the home at the time of the fire. A family of four has been displaced due to smoke, water, and fire damage.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
