Police responded to a 911 call for the crash in the 2200 block of North Market Street, and found both the pedestrian, a male in his early twenties, and the motorcyclist, a male in his early forties, lying in the street with injuries.

Preliminary investigation suggests the pedestrian walked unaware into the pathway of as the motorcycle as it traveled south bound in the 2200 block of North Market Street.

After colliding with the pedestrian, police say the motorcycle collided with a minivan that was parked in the block.
