Gas prices are inching up, as experts predicted for this spring. The national average price at the pump jumped three cents last week to end at $3.58 per gallon Monday.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says it expects prices to peak between $3.55 and $3.75 per gallon in the coming weeks. In Delaware, the average price of a gallon of gas is up four cents from one week ago, at $3.54.

Nationwide, drivers across the country enjoyed a drop in gas prices over the past month, paying the lowest they have for fuel in March since 2010. The average price of a gallon of gas four years ago was $2.78.
