Even in this day and age of e-filing, there are plenty of people who wait until the last minute to file their taxes in Delaware, and as usual, the U.S Postal Service is there to accommodate them.

Postal Service spokesman Ray Daiutolo says there is one post office staying open late in Delaware and another in South Jersey.

"This year we have the Hares Corner post office, which is located on Quigley Boulevard in New Castle, Delaware...that office is staying open until 10 p.m, and then in southern New Jersey, we also have one in Bellmawr, which is in Camden County, New Jersey that is staying open until 10 p.m.," said Daiutolo.

Daiutolo says while filing online lifts some of the burden on postal service staff, it also translates to a big hit to revenues, with fewer people mailing in their tax returns.
