Bill would require more frequent lead tests for kids

| Lieutenant Governor Matt Denn | Delaware's Lieutenant Governor is behind a bill to test kids more often for elevated levels of lead in their blood.
Matt Denn says Delaware doctors are currently required to test kids' lead levels only
at 12 months of age. Audio Here
Senate Bill 300, sponsored by Denn, Senate Majority Leader Patti Blevins and
Representative Terry Schooley, would require kids be tested at 12 and 24 months.
Denn says elevated lead levels can lead to problems ranging from a lower IQ to
aggression, hyperactivity, inattentiveness and other behavioral issues.
