Senate Bill 300, sponsored by Denn, Senate Majority Leader Patti Blevins and Representative Terry Schooley, would require kids be tested at 12 and 24 months.

Denn says elevated lead levels can lead to problems ranging from a lower IQ to aggression, hyperactivity, inattentiveness and other behavioral issues.
