Price relief at the pump

After weeks of increases, area motorists may have seen gas prices peak for the spring.

According to AAA MidAtlantic, Delaware motorists saw the cost of a gallon of unleaded regular fall seven cents last week to a statewide average of $3.59.

Spokeswoman Jana Tidwell says gas prices are expected to continue retreating as Memorial Day approaches and the summer driving season gets underway.
