A man who looked like he'd just gotten off his Harley tried to hold up a Wilmington-area Burger King Friday night, and state police are asking for your help tracking him down.

Police say the man, who was wearing a motorcycle helmet to hide his face, walked up to the drive-thru window at the Burger King at 300 South Maryland Avenue around 10:20 p.m.

He allegedly held a gun on two workers, demanded cash, and tried, but failed to open the cash register after the workers ran.

Police describe the would-be robber as a white man, between 6 feet and 6 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build, wearing a white jumpsuit in addition to the helmet.
