The state's highest court upholds the conviction of two New York men convicted in a cigarette smuggling scheme.

Marco Hassan and Sayel Ghabayen were pulled over by DRBA police in 2012 during a routine traffic stop, where police found more than 55,000 contraband cigarettes in the car.

The cigarettes had been bought in Virginia and were en route to New York City.

Both men faced fines and were forced to handover the cigarettes.

Delaware law prohibits anyone, except wholesale shippers, from possessing more than 10 packs of cigarettes
