UPDATE: AG's office considers retrial for Bodenweiser
By Mark Fowser

The state Attorney General's Office is still considering whether to re-try Eric Bodenweiser on child sex charges.

Bodenweiser's trial ended Monday with a mistrial in Sussex County after the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict following two days of deliberations.

The courts don't place a time limit on such a decision, but a spokesman with the AG's office says a decision will likely be made in the coming weeks.

The former state Senate candidate faced 10 counts of 1st degree unlawful sexual intercourse and five counts of 2nd degree unlawful sexual contact for allegedly sexually abusing a boy more than two decades ago.
