State police are investigating a chain reaction crash that sent several people to the hospital.

Police say John Francisco rear-ended another car, forcing that car to careen into a motorcycle Thursday night.

64-year-old John Shendrick of New Castle was ejected from his Harley Davidson and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Three kids were also hurt; one of them, a 6-year-old boy remains in critical condition at A.I. DuPont.

Francisco fled the scene of the accident. He faces charges of driving under the influence and vehicular assault.

He's being held on $8,000 bail.
