Christiana man charged with distributing child pornography
By Tom Lehman

A 50-year-old Christiana man was arrested and charged with alleged distribution of child pornography, the state attorney general's office announced on Friday.

Robert Metzger was arrested Thursday and faces 25 counts of distributing child pornography, said Jason Miller, a spokesman for Attorney General Beau Biden.

State troopers executed a search warrant at Metzger's home on Shield lane after linking the residence to distribution of child pornography, Miller said.

Police seized and examined a laptop and digital media devices and found multiple images and videos of child pornography, he said.

Metzger was arrested and arraigned via video phone by JP Court #2. He was taken to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center after failing to post $500,000 secured bail.
