Fourth of July fireworks in Ocean City, Maryland, are being postponed until Saturday night due to the forecast of inclement weather.

The resort will still stage two fireworks displays Saturday night, one at Northside Park and the other in the area of North Division Street and the beach.

Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan says the decision was made due to the stormy forecast and possible residual effects into Friday night, including wind and rain.
