| Scott Rasmussen | A new poll shows Congressman Castle's lead over County Executive Chris Coons is shrinking among Delawareans likely to vote for the state's next US Senator.
Scott Rasmussen of Rasmussen Reports, which conducted the survey, says Castle's lead
is down by about half from their previous poll, but it's too soon to tell if the change
means anything. Audio Here
Castle and fellow Republican Christine O'Donnell, who leads Coons 41 to 39 percent,
will face off in a September primary fot the chance to face Democrat Coons for the Senate
seat now held by Ted Kaufman, who was appointed to replace Vice President Biden.
Rasmussen's poll was conducted July 10th and 11th, surveyed a thousand likely general
election voters, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
