Traffic stop leads to arrests

A New Castle man is behind bars facing a host of drug charges.

County police arrested Richard Lloyd after finding him with 26 bags of heroin and three bags of crack cocaine.

Lloyd was in a car that was stopped for a traffic violation on Saturday. Officers learned that both Lloyd and the driver of the car were both wanted on outstanding warrants.

A further investigation turned up the drugs.

Both men are being held on lack of bail.
