Tropical Storm Bertha is well off to the east, but the storm is still expected to cause problems for the Delaware beaches the next several days.

Be on the lookout for enhanced rip currents and larger than normal surf as Tropical Storm Bertha makes a right hook out to sea, sending large swells along the Delmarva coastline.

Wave heights reaching five to six feet can be expected Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you aren't a strong swimmer, lifeguards suggest staying out of the water.
