Phillies get a look at former hot prospect Singleton
By Associated Press

The Phillies will get a look at one of their former top prospects tonight when the Houston Astros open a three-game series in Philadelphia.

Twenty-two-year-old rookie first baseman Jon Singleton had been a gem of the Phillies farm system before being going to Houston as part of the Hunter Pence trade. He's hitting .195 on the season with 10 home runs and 30 RBIs, but has been hot of late, hitting .318 over the last week.

Kyle Kendrick will start for the Phillies, who have dropped two in a row. Dallas Keuchel takes the mound for the Astros. He gave up four hit in his last outing, an 8-1 victory over Oakland.

Pre-game coverage on WDEL begins at 6:30 p.m.
