Phils start Buchanan for Lee a night after 15-inning affair
By Associated Press

After winning a 15-inning marathon last night, the Phillies will send David Buchanan to the mound tonight against the Houston Astros.

Ryan Howard drove in both runs in the 2-1 win and his solo homer ended the Phillies' 22-inning scoreless streak.

Buchanan will get the start in place of Cliff Lee, who is on the disabled list with an elbow injury. Buchanan was called up in May after Lee strained the same elbow, going 5-5 with a 4.40 ERA in 10 starts.
