New law targets "revenge porn" in Delaware
By Tom Lehman

Governor Markell has signed a bill that makes publishing or distributing of "revenge porn" a crime in Delaware.

The new law makes it illegal to post a nude or sexually explicit photo or video of a person that is often another person's former sex partner, on the Internet without their consent.

Offenders could face a felony charge if the photo or video was originally obtained without the victim's consent, is distributed for profit, or contains information that would identify the person.
