UPDATE: Home invasion leads to shooting that injured 3 in Wilmington

WDEL has learned a home invasion led to a shooting that injured three people in Wilmington last night.

The shooting was one of two in the city that sent people to the hospital overnight.

Police two men knocked on the door of a home on the 400 block of North Monroe Street demanding money. When the victims didn't comply, they were each shot.

The victims sustained gunshot wounds to the arms, legs, back and shoulder, but are expected to recover.
In a separate shooting, a 17-year-old was found with a graze wound to the head on the 300 block of North DuPont Street at about 10:30 last night.

At last check, he was in stable condition at Christiana Hospital.
