Jacques Dubecq and Dominic Pertrucci each drove in runs, but Newark National fell 4-2 to Midland, Mich. at the Junior League World Series Wednesday.

Newark fell behind 2-0 after the first inning before Petrucci's RBI single drove home Nate Hardcastle to cut the deficit in half.

Michigan jumped ahead 4-1 with a pair of RBI singles in the 3rd, before Dubecq's single to left made it a two run game after four innings.

Newark loaded the bases in the 7th, but a strikeout ended their chances for victory.

The final pool play game for Newark is Thursday night at 8pm against the California champions.
