A Felton man is behind bars, charged with offenses including burglary and running a meth lab.

State police say a man called Troop 3 Friday night to report that his brother-in law, Robert McCullough, broke into his garage in Harrington that morning and stole a gas can and tool box.

The victim told police he'd tried to call McCullough all day about the incident, but couldn't get hold of him.

When troopers went to McCullough's house, they found a bag of heroin on him and a meth lab and meth ingredients in the house.

Kent County drug unit detectives and DNREC officers dismantled the lab, and McCullough was booked into the Vaughn Correctional Center on charges including burglary, theft and operating a clandestine lab.
