Gas prices continue to fall

The price at the pump is still dropping as summer is drawing to a close.

Delaware drivers paid a statewide average of $3.31 a gallon for unleaded regular.

That's down a penny over the weekend and 6 cents in the last week. It's 20 cents a gallon lower than it was a year ago, according to AAA Mid-Atlantic.

Spokeswoman Jenny Robinson says lower gas prices are expected to remain in place for the upcoming Labor Day weekend.

She says the cost of fueling up for Labor Day travel will likely be the lowest since 2010.
