Bear-area man busted on drug charges

A Bear-area man is charged with drug offenses after police say he was seen making a marijuana sale.
County Police say officers saw Jarrell Brown make a sale from his car near the Hampton
Green Townhouses Monday afternoon.
The cops pulled Brown over and found more pot in plain view and 16 bags of the stuff
under the front passenger seat.
A search of Brown's apartment turned up 27 more bags of pot and some drug
paraphernalia, all near where Brown's 6-year-old daughter was watching TV.
Brown's out on bail, charged with possession with intent to deliver, maintaining a
vehicle, maintaining a dwelling and other offenses.
