Cong. delegation asks for more storm $$
By Frank Gerace Bookmark and Share

Delaware's Congressional delegation says the state needs more money from the Feds to recover from storms that ravaged the state's beaches last fall.

Senators Carper and Kaufman say they and Senators from other states affected by the storms have written to the Senate Appropriations Committee, and Congressman Castle and other Representatives wrote to the same Committee in the House to ask for the funds.

The three lawmakers also wrote to FEMA director Craig Fugate supporting Governor Markell's application for federal disaster funding to repair damage from February's twin blizzards.
