Crozier, who was told beforehand he was needed at the luncheon at the Hotel DuPont to pick up an award for a retired colleague, says winning the Gilman Bowl is a humbling experience.

The Gilman Bowl is named after the late Marvin S. Gilman, who was president of Gilman Development Company in Wilmington.

The award is given each year to a small businessman the Chamber believes best exemplifies leadership.
